Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor at Rosyth, you will drive commercial leadership on major defence infrastructure projects. You’ll work within the Marine Engineering & Systems business to manage project costs and NEC4 contract administration, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. You’ll influence programme outcomes through budgeting, risk management and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities
- Oversee commercial and financial performance across project lifecycles
- Administer NEC4 contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, change control and payment applications
- Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, cost reports and financial performance reviews
- Provide commercial advice and risk management support to project teams and stakeholders
- Support procurement activities and nurture relationships with contractors, suppliers and client representatives
Key requirements
- Proven Quantity Surveying experience in construction or infrastructure
- Experience managing costs, budgets, forecasting and financial reporting across a project lifecycle
- Strong NEC contract administration skills (compensation events, early warnings, change control, payments)
- Experience managing commercial risk, contractor performance and stakeholder relationships
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale projects (5–100 million)
