In this Project Engineer role at the Rosyth site, you will drive delivery of construction and infrastructure projects, coordinating with contractors, customers and internal stakeholders. You’ll oversee projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. The position offers exposure to technical, commercial and project-management aspects, contributing to programmes that keep the UK secure. You’ll work in a live operation, shaping how projects meet high standards in a defence context. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence outcomes across planning, delivery and handover.

Responsibilities
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle from planning to handover
- Coordinate contractors and site activities in a live operational environment
- Monitor schedules, budgets and project risks to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure health, safety and CDM compliance through inspections and controls
- Maintain regular communication with customers and stakeholders throughout delivery
Key requirements
- Experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects in engineering, industrial or facilities environments
- Strong contractor management and site coordination experience
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation, especially CDM 2015
- Proven ability to manage projects from planning through completion and handover
- Experience using project management tools to handle budgets, schedules and risk
