Job title: Project Control Manager
Location: Warton with occasional travel to other UK based sites. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £63,900+ depending on experience
What you\’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage a team of Project Control professionals
  • Deliver an efficient and effective Project Control service for a complex portfolio of work, across multiple customers
  • Interface effectively with the Line of Business Contract Owners to agree requirements, manage expectations and resolve issues
  • Lead the roll out of upcoming toolsets and process changes
  • Responsible for performance reporting, Integrated Business Planning, demand/supply resource planning and Health & Safety

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

  • Extensive Project Control knowledge and experience, including Earned Value Management, scheduling and change control
  • Significant experience in stakeholder leadership, team leadership and team management
  • Ability to manage a complex portfolio of work, with a number of priorities at any given time
  • Detailed knowledge of performance reporting, Integrated Business Planning, demand/supply resource planning and Health & Safety

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Engineering programmes

The Business area:
The Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) organisation is a 2,4000+ strong engineering organisation delivering Engineering projects and more across multiple aircraft platforms including Typhoon, Tornado, Hawk, F35, FalconWorks and FCAS. There are 5 Centres of Excellence within DDT&E including; Test and Evaluation, Mission and Information Systems, Synthetic Training, Flight Sciences, Advanced Aerostructures enabled by a central operations team.
