You will play a pivotal role within the The Nuclear Finance FP&A team that provides financial planning, analysis, reporting and governance across the Nuclear sector. The team supports effective financial control and decision-making, ensuring compliance with contractual, business and regulatory requirementsDay-to-day, you’llLeading budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning activities across the Nuclear sector.Providing financial insight, challenge and decision support to senior business leaders and stakeholders.Managing financial reporting activities for the Corporate Services contract within Naval Nuclear.Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting, governance, controls and management information.Leading and developing a team of finance professionals while promoting high performance and collaboration.This role is 35 hours per week, based at Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of approximately 2 to 3 days on site each week.Essential experience of the Finance Business Partnering ManagerStrong experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, business partnering and performance management within a complex organisation.Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders through commercial insight and strategic financial advice.Experience leading annual planning cycles, rolling forecasts, scenario modelling and performance reviews.Strong understanding of financial governance, controls and reporting, with experience improving finance processes and systems.Proven people leadership, stakeholder management and change management experience.Qualifications for the Finance Business Partnering ManagerProfessionally qualified accountant, such as:Association of Chartered Certified AccountantsAssociate Chartered AccountantChartered Institute of Management AccountantsInstitute of Chartered Accountants in England and WalesInstitute of Chartered Accountants of ScotlandOr an equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification.Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a Sole UK National and be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
