Overview
In this role you will support vessel movements and berthing operations at Devonport Royal Dockyard, ensuring safe, efficient waterfront services. You will work with cross-functional teams to coordinate berthing schedules, manage priorities, and maintain critical assets. The position offers hands-on project engineering and planning experience in a high-security maritime environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance across contracts and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end service requests for vessel movements and waterfront services
- Coordinate berthing schedules for safe and timely execution
- Collaborate with operations and berthing officers to balance priorities
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance of waterfront assets to maximise availability
- Drive continuous improvement while ensuring contractual, regulatory compliance
Key requirements
- Planning and scheduling experience in an operational, engineering or project setting
- Strong proficiency in Excel, MS Project and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven problem-solving and proactive solution delivery
- Relevant engineering, project management or technical qualification, or equivalent experience
