Overview
In this Nuclear Performance Management Specialist role, you’ll drive governance, assurance and performance improvement across nuclear operations at a major Devon site. You’ll strengthen safety culture, analyze performance data and spot opportunities for continuous improvement, contributing to regulatory confidence and risk reduction. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to embed consistent governance practices in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver operational governance across the nuclear licensed site
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, site licence conditions and best practice
- Monitor performance via KPIs, PMIs and SPIs to identify trends and improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen nuclear safety culture and risk management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed learning and consistent governance across operations
Key requirements
- Experience in the nuclear industry, especially governance, assurance or compliance
- Understanding of nuclear safety principles and regulatory frameworks, including Site Licence Conditions
- Experience monitoring performance using KPIs or similar metrics
- Ability to support assurance activities such as self-assessment or audit programmes
- Experience analysing data to identify trends and support risk prioritisation
