In this Nuclear Performance Management Specialist role, you’ll drive governance, assurance and performance improvement across nuclear operations at a major Devon site. You’ll strengthen safety culture, analyze performance data and spot opportunities for continuous improvement, contributing to regulatory confidence and risk reduction. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to embed consistent governance practices in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational governance across the nuclear licensed site
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, site licence conditions and best practice
  • Monitor performance via KPIs, PMIs and SPIs to identify trends and improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen nuclear safety culture and risk management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed learning and consistent governance across operations

Key requirements

  • Experience in the nuclear industry, especially governance, assurance or compliance
  • Understanding of nuclear safety principles and regulatory frameworks, including Site Licence Conditions
  • Experience monitoring performance using KPIs or similar metrics
  • Ability to support assurance activities such as self-assessment or audit programmes
  • Experience analysing data to identify trends and support risk prioritisation
  • Collaborative mindset
