This is your opportunity to take a leading role in one of the UK's most significant marine engineering and shipbuilding programmes. Working at the heart of a highly skilled team, you'll help drive delivery, performance, and operational excellence, ensuring complex shipbuilding activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The role involves managing operational compartment completions in line with project acceptance strategies, helping to deliver critical defence capability for the nation. You'll play a key role in driving schedule adherence, improving performance, and building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Manage workload delivery to meet contract requirements while achieving cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Establish and promote safe working practices in line with company policies and standards.
- Set, monitor, and report compartment completion targets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Take ownership of the compartment completion process to enable workfaces to achieve programme milestones.
- Liaise with planning, materials, warehousing, quality, and support teams to drive a coordinated delivery approach.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and is based at Rosyth. Hybrid working patterns are available.
Essential experience includes:
- Extensive recent experience within a marine, shipbuilding, or maritime engineering environment.
- Experience working within planning, project delivery, or production management functions.
- Ability to apply practical, common-sense problem-solving skills in a complex operational environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience building effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working within fast-paced, time-critical production or manufacturing environments.
Qualifications include:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Marine Studies, or a related discipline.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
