Overview
As Senior Quality Surveyor, you will lead commercial activities on high-profile naval infrastructure projects within the Naval Nuclear business. You will sit with project teams, MoD stakeholders and supply partners to ensure value, compliance and risk management across the project lifecycle. You will drive contract administration, cost control and change management while shaping the commercial strategy. This role offers exposure to highly regulated, technically demanding environments and the opportunity to contribute to national defence and security. You will work in a hybrid setup, delivering impactful commercial leadership that supports complex programmes.

Responsibilities
- Managing commercial activities across infrastructure, engineering and construction projects
- Supporting contract administration, cost control, change management and compensation events
- Collaborating with project managers, suppliers and stakeholders to maximise value and ensure contractual compliance
- Identifying, assessing and mitigating commercial risks while protecting the company's position
- Delivering commercial reporting, governance activities and strategic commercial support throughout the project lifecycle
Key requirements
- Strong commercial management experience within engineering and/or construction environments
- Knowledge of NEC3 and/or JCT contracts within project delivery settings
- Experience supporting large, complex contracts, bids and commercial strategies
- Experience managing cost control, change management and compensation events
- Ability to build effective relationships with project teams, supply chain partners and senior stakeholders
