Responsibilities
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost control to secure robust performance
- Support investment appraisals, financial evaluations and business case development for transformation initiatives
- Lead transformation and business improvement strategies to improve financial and operational outcomes
- Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation and control measures
- Promote a strong health, safety and continuous improvement culture across the business
Key requirements
- Experience in a senior finance leadership or business partnering role
- Experience driving financial performance, growth and value creation
- Strong investment appraisal and business case development experience
- Knowledge of commercial, procurement and operational considerations including costs, risks and margins
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting requirements and relevant legal standards
- Chartered or equivalent professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
