The role:
- As an Information Security Assurance Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of protecting information assets within a complex and highly secure environment.
- Reporting to the Head of Security Assurance, you'll provide expert guidance on information assurance, information risk management, data protection, and security controls within sensitive operational areas.
- Providing information assurance support and guidance across 9 Dock and designated Limited Access Areas.
- Managing information risk activities and helping to ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Advising stakeholders on information protection requirements, security controls, and best practice approaches.
- Collaborating with internal teams and customers to strengthen security assurance and protect critical information assets.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days in the office/onsite.
Essential experience:
- Experience working within an information assurance, information security, or cyber security role.
- Knowledge of information risk management principles and practices.
- Understanding of GDPR and Data Protection requirements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Risk Management, or a related discipline would be beneficial.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent are advantageous.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
