Configuration Manager – eDV Cleared
£600-£625 per day (Inside IR35)
(Full-time Onsite in London | 12-Month Contract)

Our client, a leading global technology organisation, is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to take ownership of the configuration management process across complex IT services. This is a high-profile role, fully onsite in London, and requires an active eDV clearance.

As the Configuration Manager, you\’ll play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs), ensuring data integrity, driving automation, and supporting integration across multiple toolsets. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the maturity of configuration and asset management practices within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the CI lifecycle including baseline mapping and reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain Service Models, ensuring correct constructs and relationships.
  • Drive automation and discovery capabilities to enhance data population and accuracy.
  • Work closely with configuration teams to deliver tool integrations and automations.
  • Maintain and enforce naming conventions across the CMDB.
  • Manage CI de-duplication and reconciliation processes.
  • Support Asset Management (SAM & HAM) and wider SACM practices.

Requirements:

  • Active eDV clearance (essential).
  • Strong background in Configuration Management with hands-on CI lifecycle experience.
  • Experience in Service Modelling and dependency mapping.
  • Knowledge of CI reconciliation and de-duplication processes.
  • Familiarity with tool integrations and automation within configuration management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process governance.

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of OT uCMDB.
  • Understanding of asset management frameworks (SAM & HAM).
