The roleAs a Solution Architect, you'll be at the heart of one of the UK's most significant defence infrastructure programmes. You'll help shape the technical solutions that support the maintenance our submarine fleet - critical to national security. We will provide you with the tools and training necessary to grow your skills in line with the ever-evolving task of submarine maintenance. Day-to-day, you'll be part of a growing architectural team within our Digital Solutions business unit, contributing to a portfolio of medium to enterprise-scale projects. Define system components, integration points and data flows using modern technologies and platforms. Lead technical delivery, resolving complex issues, managing risks and working with software partners to achieve successful deployment. This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home. Essential experience for the Solution ArchitectProven experience in technical architecture and solution design using tools like Sparx EA and frameworks such as ArchiMateDemonstrate an ability to communicate and manage all levels of stakeholdersStrong understanding of security principles and governanceDemonstrated success in designing and delivering complex systems integration solutionsDesirable experience for the Solution ArchitectBackground in regulated industries such as defence, aerospace or nuclear, financeExperience in integrating enterprise level systemsQualifications for the Solutions ArchitectRelevant qualifications in technical architecture and solution design such as BCS Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise and Solutions Architecture. Additional certifications in security or enterprise systems are advantageousSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national, who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
