Programme Manager in Bristol

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering complex technology and engineering solutions that support defence capability, national security, and future growth. Working at the forefront of defence innovation, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams, influence senior stakeholders, and help deliver outcomes that truly matter.

The role involves:

• Leading multidisciplinary teams to successfully mobilise and deliver complex programmes and growth initiatives.
• Managing the delivery of large, technically complex engineering and technology contracts for Ministry of Defence and commercial customers.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain confidence, engagement, and programme success.
• Driving programme performance, risk management, financial objectives, and delivery commitments.
• Developing and growing high-performing teams that support both successful programme delivery and future business growth.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience includes:

• Demonstrable experience leading and delivering large-scale complex engineering or technology programmes valued at £75m+.
• Strong project and programme management expertise, including bid, mobilisation, delivery, and service integration activities.
• Experience identifying, managing, and mitigating programme risks within complex delivery environments.
• Proven commercial awareness and experience operating within large, high-value programmes.
• Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams while engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications required:

• Holds a recognised project management qualification such as APM PMQ, ChPP or equivalent.
• Holds a clean UK driving license.
• Be eligible for a minimum SC level (UK) security with the potential for further clearance if required.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
