What you\'ll be doing:
- Assembly, repair and modification of products from Line Replaceable Units through to Radar systems
- Using business systems and processes to record and evidence compliance
- Assisting and supporting development of other personnel
Your skills and experiences:
- Formally qualified in appropriate electrical assembly Workmanship Standards, have completed a relevant apprenticeship or have proven relevant experience. Awareness and working understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
- Be able to perform complex assembly, disassembly or modification of electro mechanical subassemblies
- Have prototyping capability utilising limited data and documentation to support 1st off build and able to provide clear and accurate feedback for product, process development
- Experienced in reading and interpreting technical drawing, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams
- Whilst the primary role is electrical, experience in mechanical workshop practices and techniques is desirable

Would you like to work with cutting edge products in Radar Technology? We currently have a vacancy for a Manufacturing Assembly Technician at our site in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of an experienced team responsible for the Manufacturer, Repair or Modification of Units and Products in a technological manufacturing environment whilst also supporting Design Engineering in Future Product Development.
Radar is an exciting and unique field, with increasingly sophisticated electronics, materials and products. This role will provide you with the chance to develop your skills, with the potential for career progression opportunities in the future.

Our workplace in Cowes is an easily accessible commute from Southampton with a regular foot passenger ferry and BAE shuttle service from the ferry terminal to site.
