As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact systems engineering across a major long‑term nuclear programme.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Lead and direct systems engineering activities across complex programmes
  • Allocate tasks and oversee delivery from a team of systems engineers
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to grow capability across the team
  • Deliver hands‑on systems engineering including requirements, architecture, and integration
  • Lead and contribute to technical and design reviews with key stakeholders

Essential Experience:

  • Strong systems engineering experience across requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification and validation
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within engineering teams
  • Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary engineering programmes
  • Reviewing technical outputs and leading engineering or design reviews
  • Application of full lifecycle systems engineering expertise

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (desirable)
