Be the Backbone of Operational Excellence at Babcock. If you join us, you can play your part as a Warehouse Support Administrator at our Walsall site, near Birmingham, West Midlands.

Role

As a Warehouse Support Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics and supply chain operations, supporting the warehousing and material planning teams with essential administrative tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a business that plays a vital role in defence, aerospace and engineering industries that protect communities and shape the future.

Day-to-day, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that ensures our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver critical services and support to our customers.

You’ll also:

  • Support warehouse processes including goods receipt, outbound logistics, and material returns
  • Handle data entry using Excel and ERP systems
  • Create monthly and ad hoc reports to keep customer information up to date
  • Assist with internal audits and quality administration processes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and support reporting

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall. Typically, you’ll work 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday – Thursday with an early finish on Friday.

Essential experience

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced administration role
  • Proven ability to log and track enquiries to successful resolution
  • High level of competence in Microsoft suite, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Warehousing experience is desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
