The role:
As a Training Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of defence training programmes. Working within a busy training environment, you will ensure courses are planned efficiently, records are maintained accurately, and essential training materials are available when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, working with a variety of stakeholders, and making a real difference to operational training delivery. Your work will help ensure military personnel receive the high-quality training they need to perform critical roles.
Day-to-day, you will be:
- Coordinating course schedules, bookings, and training activity across the training operation.
- Managing course attendance, waiting lists, and reserve lists to maximise training uptake.
- Maintaining accurate training records, course documentation, and learning materials.
- Supporting training publications and library services, including course printing and amendment inserts.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of training programmes and resources.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and is based on site at Bovington with some flexibility available. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
Essential experience of the Training Administrator:
- Previous administration experience within a busy office, training, or coordination environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to supporting teams and delivering high-quality customer service.
Qualifications for the Training Administrator:
- Full UK driving licence would be desirable.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
