Role Summary
As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for providing professional pool supervision and life‑saving cover, supporting military training activities while ensuring the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring the swimming pool and training activities at all times while on duty.
- Carrying out poolside and changing room safety checks following swimming sessions.
- Ensuring pool safety operating procedures are followed and maintained.
- Attending regular training sessions to maintain operational readiness.
- Maintaining fitness levels and keeping the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification current.
Essential Experience
- Previous lifeguarding experience.
- Confident swimming ability and the ability to pass a swimming assessment.
- Experience working within a safety‑focused environment.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (EDBS) security clearance for this role.
