As a Vehicle Paint Technician, you will support the refurbishment and finishing of military vehicles and equipment, ensuring every asset meets exacting quality, durability, safety and environmental standards for service in demanding environments.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by masking, washing, blasting, filling and sanding ready for coating
  • Use degreasers and approved cleaning agents to remove contaminants and ensure paint quality
  • Apply coatings through spraying, patch painting and rolling to required specifications
  • Complete work to defined quality, safety and environmental standards
  • Support vehicle and equipment refurbishment activities within a collaborative workshop team

Essential experience:

  • Experience in spray painting heavy commercial vehicles or similar large assets

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Paint Spraying within the Regulated Qualifications Framework or National Vocational Qualification, or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
