Lead the Future of Maritime Support for a Safer World

The role:
- As an ILS Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering support solutions for the Arrowhead programme, ensuring our cutting-edge warships remain mission ready.
- This is a customer facing role where you’ll collaborate with highly skilled Engineers, Managers and Technicians to shape the future of naval support.
- Your work will make a tangible difference to national security and give you the opportunity to grow your career in defence, aerospace, and engineering.
- Day-to-day, you’ll be the key liaison between the Authority and the T26 Warship Technical Authority (WTA).
- Supporting the Lead and Principal Engineers to ensure compliance requirements, while delivering objectives to ensure readiness to deliver support to each in-service vessel.
- Supporting planning and execution of IKM aspects of project workstreams.
- Acting as the T26 Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) Subject Matter Expert, providing advice and guidance.
- Ensuring compliance with security, ITAR/EC and intellectual property requirements.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participating in assurance activities to validate the supportability case.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience:
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
- Engineering background (mechanical or electrical); Royal Navy experience highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience.
- Ability to operate in compliance-driven environments.
Qualifications:
- Honours degree (or higher) in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- Chartered Engineer status and membership of a relevant professional institute or significant demonstrable supportability engineering experience.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
