The role As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage a programme of facility and infrastructure upgrades on the Nuclear Site in Devonport Royal Dockyard, supporting the UK’s fleet of Vanguard-Class Submarines. Responsibilities: Lead, develop and report on a team of nuclear project professionals. Drive accurate programme reporting against schedule, cost and quality, ensuring projects are correctly governed and assured. Manage key internal and external stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks within the programme. Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager: Experience of leading and managing project teams. Experience of delivering complex programmes of work on a nuclear licensed site or other highly regulated industry. Experience of reporting on full project lifecycles. Experience of managing and delivering facility or infrastructure projects in regulated industries. Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager: Minimum NVQ Level 4 in an engineering discipline, technical discipline, business qualification (BTEC HNC in management minimum) or demonstrable work experience. APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent qualification in project management. Chartership in engineering, project management, technical or business discipline preferred. Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
