The Role
As a Senior Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work as part of a world\’s first project and ensure it is accurately planned reported.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for delivering key project management functions including schedule, financial and risk. You will also:
- Produce and communicate project reporting data on ERP systems
- Forecast costs and monitor and report against budget
- Provide the resource and financial forecast data to the business
- Plan, develop and maintain quality scope requirements and acceptance requirements
- Maintain project and costs estimates and ensure regular reviews are undertaken
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Experience required of the Senior Project Controller
- Ability to control cost forecasts and actual costs against the budget
- Ability to idenify risks and manage risk throughout the project
- Ability to create clear and concise reports and manage project performance against established baselines
- Experience of Shipbuilding/Repair/Refit/Decommissioning environments desirable but not essential.
Qualifications for the Senior Project Controller
- A bachelor\’s degree in engineering / project / construction management or a related field desirable but not essential
