Senior Operations Manager

The role

As a Senior Operations Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to provide crucial support to the Head of Site and the Site Senior Management team, aiding in effective and strategic decision-making. Day-to-day, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth and effectiveness of our operational teams, ensuring alignment with our core business objectives and overall success.

You’ll also:

• Drive ownership, inclusion, development, and delivery within our leadership team
• Ensure completion of activity against the Plan, working as part of the cross functional team to manage dependencies in resource, suitably qualified and experienced person (SQEP), facilities, and material
• Support the management and adherence to cost centre and/or work centre budget responsibility and offer increased accountability for spend in the business necessary areas
• Lead on the implementation of Sales and Operations planning on site
• Support the overall Operational Excellence team in delivery of site-based initiatives that deliver recommended business change initiatives and goals

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch.

Essential experience of the Senior Operations Manager:

• A deep understanding of the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) business model and process
• Proven and extensive leadership of successfully delivered complex or transformational projects to time and budget
• Relevant experience in a similar role and subject matter expertise including in senior leadership roles
• Experience of leading large multifunctional teams, with an ability to inspire and motivate individuals into high performing teams
• Experience of working with data and reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, MS Excel)

Qualifications for the Senior Operations Manager:

• Completed (or working towards) NEEBOSH level 3
• Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
