The role:

  • To facilitate efficient and effective processing of security clearance for all relevant Babcock employees and contractors, in accordance with legislation, suggested best practice and Babcock processes and guidelines.
  • Day-to-day, you’ll initiate security clearance process for all relevant new employees/prospective employees and contractors.
  • Monitor employee records, to ensure appropriate clearances are renewed prior to expiry.
  • Assist with data cleanse of security vetting records to ensure accurate records are always maintained in accordance with GDPR guidance.
  • Collate and check ID and proof of residence documentation.
  • Chase missing or incomplete information where necessary.
  • Process all requests effectively, accurately, and efficiently and in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can offer hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Security Vetting Coordinator:

  • Previous customer service/security administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Awareness of Security policy & procedures.
  • Understanding of GDPR legislation as it affects the role.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
