The role:

As a Support Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for developing through-life support solutions that meet customer requirements while delivering innovation, value for money and operational excellence. You'll work across multidisciplinary teams, contributing to bids, proposals and new business opportunities within the defence sector.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Developing innovative through-life support solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
  • Analysing complex requirements and translating them into compelling bid and proposal content.
  • Collaborating with customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders to shape future capabilities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing services through innovation, technology and best practice.
  • Supporting business-winning activities, negotiations and solution development across multiple programmes.

This role is based at Andover with hybrid working patterns available. The position is full-time, working 37 hours per week, with a minimum of three days per week on site.

Essential experience:

  • Experience developing customer-focused solutions for bids, proposals or business opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience working within structured project or programme environments.
  • Ability to develop innovative, value-for-money solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and delivering results to demanding timescales.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional experience within defence, engineering support, logistics support, supportability, business-winning or related environments.
  • Experience developing through-life support solutions would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of defence, resilience, aerospace, maritime, land or related sectors would be beneficial.
