What you’ll do:
- Driving strategic cost planning by developing robust pre‑tender estimates and evaluating design alternatives.
- Delivering insightful financial reporting to support project and client decision‑making.
- Shaping project budgets in collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Supporting high‑stakes contract negotiations to secure favourable commercial outcomes.
- Monitoring financial performance and recommending corrective actions to maintain profitability.
What you’ll need:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying or a related discipline.
- Professional membership or accreditation (e.g., RICS) is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of building and construction practices.
- Experience with Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts.
- Proficiency in NEC3 or NEC4 contract frameworks.
- Background in project management.
- Specialism in a relevant field such as Civils, Building, Mechanical or Commercial.
