Shape the future of defence, aerospace and engineering with Babcock
We’re pursuing a safer, more secure world. If you join us as a HR Administrator, you’ll support the Contracts and Onboarding (C&O) team, assisting new starters and existing employees across Babcock sites to ensure smooth onboarding and an excellent employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and managing cases from the People Advisor Team, ensuring service level agreements are met
- Facilitating the administration of employment contracts and onboarding processes
- Engaging with hiring managers and candidates to provide timely updates
- Recording HR data accurately and aligning with payroll deadlines
- Collaborating with the wider PeopleCentre team to deliver a seamless employee experience
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working arrangements: three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home.
Essential experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Standard Grades including English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 (desired but not essential)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
