Day-to-day you’ll be required to:
- Design and update course materials, assessments, and training packages in line with client objectives
- Collaborate with instructors to deliver pilot courses and refine content
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in training environments
- Support continuous improvement by researching new subjects and developing innovative training aids
- Review existing training for improvements and integrate modern learning technologies
The role is based onsite at MOD Lyneham. The set working times are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
Essential experience of the Mechanical Trainer:
- Ability to research new subjects and design new materials for précis, assessments, and projects
- Capability to carry out personal development to keep abreast of changes in technology
Qualifications for the Mechanical Trainer:
- HNC/HND Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
