At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Material Coordinator at our Hinkley Point C site and be part of the MEH Alliance working on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project.
The alliance coordinates the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling, and support services. This approach enables different contractors to work as a single entity, delivering complex installations across the power station’s vast network of rooms.
The role
As a Material Coordinator, you will support the coordination, communication, and control of construction materials to ensure smooth delivery, scheduling, and integration across teams and departments.
- Attend coordination meetings involving procurement, expediting, and warehouse inventory.
- Process Material Requests aligned with the 16-week lookahead schedule.
- Liaise with material package managers, warehouse teams, and construction crews to ensure smooth flow of materials.
- Provide input and visual data to support material forecasting and planning.
- Collaborate with planning, engineering, logistics, and site teams for efficient material handling.
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based on-site at Hinkley Point C.
Essential experience
- Proven track record in material/asset management, ideally in construction or warehouse environments.
- Strong data and reporting skills, including KPI input and trend analysis.
- Collaborative and confident working with multiple departments.
- Experience with documentation and inventory management systems.
