The role:

As a Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading and managing an operational team to safely deliver production targets while ensuring effective workforce management, resource planning, process compliance and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to take ownership of operational delivery, making sure the right people, tools, processes and resources are in place to achieve business objectives.

This role combines people leadership, production oversight, safety compliance and performance management, offering the chance to make a real impact within a critical operational environment while developing your leadership career.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Leading and developing an operational team to deliver production plans safely and efficiently.
  • Managing recruitment, performance, capability, welfare and workforce planning activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and operational processes.
  • Overseeing production systems, equipment, tooling and resource availability to minimise operational risks.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate operational reporting and planning.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based on site at Ashchurch, Gloucestershire.

Essential experience of the Supervisor:

  • Experience supervising teams within a production, manufacturing, engineering, automotive, logistics or similar operational environment.
  • Ability to coordinate people, resources and daily operations effectively.
  • Experience working within a safety-focused and process-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Experience supporting performance improvement and delivery against operational targets.

Qualifications for the Supervisor:

  • Educated to Level 2 within the National Qualifications Framework (or equivalent).
  • Relevant technical or vocational qualification equivalent to NQF Level 3, such as an Advanced Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
