If you join us, you can play your part as a Rostering Administrator based at Cadder Yard, Scotland supporting our Rail business. This is a key coordination role that helps ensure the right people, with the right skills, are available at the right time. Your work will directly support safe, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery of rail operations.

The role:

  • As a Rostering Administrator, you’ll support the planning and coordination of staff resources and training to meet operational demands.
  • Working closely with depot managers, supervisors, and external suppliers, you’ll help minimise resourcing gaps and ensure work is delivered efficiently.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Creating, updating, and maintaining staff rosters to meet planned work requirements.
  • Working with depot and management teams to understand staffing needs and operational priorities.
  • Scheduling training and competence activities, ensuring staff are released appropriately.
  • Liaising with agency suppliers to cover any shortfalls in resourcing.
  • Maintaining accurate records of staff skills, competencies, suppliers, and workforce data.

This is a full‑time, onsite role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Cadder Yard, Scotland.

Essential experience:

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role within a busy, structured environment.
  • Experience producing or supporting rosters, schedules, or resource plans.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and confidence working with data and records.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
