This is an exceptional opportunity to drive the successful implementation and delivery of major programmes that strengthen the capability, capacity and resilience across Devonport, the largest naval support site in Western Europe.

- Oversee programme‑level governance, ensuring strong decision‑making, risk management and clear benefit tracking.
- Shape and manage resource and capacity planning, working closely with HR, finance and delivery teams to resolve constraints.
- Engage senior leaders and external partners, building trusted relationships and communicating progress with clarity and confidence.
- Drive continuous improvement, embedding best‑practice programme and project management into the programme.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

- Strong understanding of programme and project methodologies (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing capability at executive or board level.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with business cases, investment appraisal and benefits tracking.
