At Babcock, the Data and Reporting Analyst will support the HADES programme across our UK locations, shaping a more digital, data‑driven approach to reporting and information management. You will work with stakeholders to improve data capture, analysis, and presentation, helping optimise performance and ways of working.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

  • Identify, document, and catalogue data sources and systems used across the programme.
  • Analyse current reporting processes and recommend improvements to reduce duplication and manual effort.
  • Design and build dashboards and reports (e.g. using Power BI) to provide clear, actionable insight.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Support data governance, quality, and consistency across reporting outputs.

Essential experience:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, meaningful insight.
  • Confidence working with reporting tools and data platforms (e.g. Power BI, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at different levels and explain data concepts clearly.
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage your own workload.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative, IT, data, or business‑related field.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
