Role
As a Change Delivery Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of delivering critical engineering upgrades and modifications to Royal Navy submarines. This is a dynamic, hands-on project management role where your work directly supports national defence and maritime safety.
Day-to-day you’ll be required to:
- Lead and coordinate installation activities, ensuring all pre-installation requirements are in place.
- Provide engineering support to resolve technical and resourcing issues during project delivery.
- Monitor progress, track costs and hours, and report on project performance.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety and contractor control policies.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.
Essential experience
- Experience in a highly regulated environment such as mechanical, marine, or nuclear engineering.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning and project delivery processes.
- Knowledge of ship systems maintenance and installation procedures.
Qualifications
- Ideally, you’ll hold an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, but equivalent experience is also valuable.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
