Overview: The Experis Academy offers an exciting and unique opportunity for delivery-oriented individuals to be trained and upskilled to become highly skilled Project Controllers within Babcock International. This program provides training in project, programme and portfolio management (P3M), Primavera, Excel, and soft-skills such as negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project/control activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Co-ordinate and collate all project controls data.
  • Produce revenue and project controls reports.
  • Provide forward-looking trend and variance analysis to identify expected performance and compare against targets.
  • Facilitate re-forecasting exercises with the project team to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure project controls reporting aligns with the project WBS.
  • Assist with monthly billing.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate confidently.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all business levels.
  • Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A forward thinker who pre-empts potential problems.
  • Professional commitment to high quality and a passion for learning new skills.
  • Previous experience in a delivery environment within engineering, project or construction management or related field.
