The role:

As a Project Controls Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of the Sizewell C programme, one of the UK’s largest and most high‑profile infrastructure projects. This is not routine reporting – it’s an opportunity to bring clarity, confidence and control to a nationally significant project that will impact generations to come.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate cost and schedule data within project controls systems
  • Prepare monthly reports aligned to governance and business reporting cycles
  • Support cost forecasting, estimating and schedule development, including assumptions
  • Contribute to risk management activities, impact analysis and cost modelling
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across engineering, commercial and delivery teams

This is a full‑time role, working 37 hours per week, based at our Stoke Gifford, Bristol site. Hybrid working patterns are available. You will work a minimum of two days on site.

Essential experience:

  • Previous experience within project controls, cost engineering or finance
  • A working understanding of planning, cost engineering, estimating or risk concepts
  • Experience supporting projects in regulated or complex environments
  • Confidence working with data, reporting and assurance processes
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Graduate‑level qualification or equivalent professional experience (essential)
  • Professional development in project controls, cost management or planning (advantageous)
