As a Finance Analyst, you’ll play a vital role within our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, supporting cash insight processes that drive strategic decision‑making across the business. You’ll help provide clear visibility of our liquidity position while monitoring performance against cash targets, enabling better financial planning across our global operations.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:
- Extracting and analysing financial data from multiple sources including ledgers, payroll, VAT returns and bank statements
- Developing and maintaining robust cash forecasting models to support accurate reporting
- Supporting monthly rolling forecast processes by delivering insightful data and analysis
- Investigating and explaining variances between forecasts and actual results
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency
This is a remote, full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with monthly travel to Bristol.
Essential Experience
- Experience analysing and interpreting financial data to deliver clear insights
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including building and maintaining financial models
- Experience working with finance systems such as SAP, IFS or similar platforms
- Proven ability to identify issues and implement process improvements
Qualifications
A relevant finance, accounting or business-related qualification or working towards one (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
