The role
As an Apprentice Development Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the early careers experience of our apprentices across one of Europe’s largest and most complex engineering environments. Day-to-day, you’ll provide guidance, pastoral support and structured development, ensuring each apprentice has the training, tools and confidence they need to thrive. Beyond one‑to‑one support, your work will also contribute to the wider future talent strategy, including STEM outreach, work experience and early careers engagement, making a meaningful impact on both Babcock and the wider community.
- Support and guide a cohort of apprentices throughout their programme, including pastoral, educational and behavioural support.
- Hold progress meetings with apprentices, mentors and training providers to review performance and development.
- Work with business units and the Emerging Talent team to ensure apprentices receive the right training and on‑programme support.
- Coordinate and contribute to recruitment, induction, training programmes and outreach activity.
- Promote wellbeing, safeguarding, diversity and inclusion by signposting support and encouraging engagement with Babcock Networks.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 4 days in the office/onsite.

Qualifications for the Apprentice Development Advisor
