The role
As a Indirect Tax Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. To support the Indirect Tax Manager and Head of Indirect Tax, ensuring tax compliance obligations for indirect taxes and employment taxes are met.

Day-to-day, you’ll review and interrogate data, interpret information and to support the provision of indirect tax advice the wider business.
Reviewing, prepared VAT, CIS and PSA returns/data and ensuring all returns are submitted.

  • Providing feedback to the business and assisting in the standardisation of processes and procedures, to include development and review of documentation for the business
  • Assisting the Indirect Tax Manager to raise tax awareness and embedding key tax checks across the business through engagement and building relationships
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls around indirect tax compliance
  • Continuous review of systems and processes to maximise tax reporting capabilities and ensure compliance. To create efficiencies and enhance reliability over accuracy of Indirect Tax reporting
  • Support Tax Audits and gather required information

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements

Essential experience of the Indirect Tax Analyst:

  • Proven experience in an indirect tax focused position
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • VAT and CIS knowledge
  • Strong analytical and interpretative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong excel skills and experience of using a financial system
