Shape the future of transport solutions that support national infrastructure. This role involves delivering complex transport projects that support operational excellence across the UK Land & Aviation business.
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of transport projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and cost.
- Leading end-to-end project delivery from scoping and design through to implementation and handover.
- Collaborating with internal teams, customers, and supply chain partners to deliver effective transport solutions.
- Supporting operational teams with subject matter expertise and guidance.
- Creating and maintaining project documentation, systems, and training materials.
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week with flexible hours Monday to Friday, including an early finish on Fridays. The role is based at RAF Cosford, Shropshire, with flexibility to be based across the UK. Frequent travel to other sites is expected, alongside remote and hybrid working options.
Essential experience
- Strong knowledge of transport operations and relevant legislation.
- Experience delivering projects within transport or operational environments.
- Effective communication with stakeholders through strong presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
- Collaborative working across teams and external partners.
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Project Management qualification (desirable).
- Transport Manager CPC - Passenger or LGV (desirable).
