As a Contract Manager - Marine Training, you will lead the successful delivery of critical marine training contracts that support defence capability. This is a high impact role where you will ensure programmes are delivered to the highest standards of cost, quality, and performance while building trusted relationships with customers and partners. You will help shape how training is delivered, driving continuous improvement and supporting business growth, all while developing your own leadership and commercial expertise in a dynamic environment.
The role is based onsite at HMS Collingwood, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Manage and deliver marine training contracts to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets
- Lead and develop training delivery teams to achieve high performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of contracts
- Monitor contract compliance, performance metrics, and reporting to senior management
- Experience of managing contracts or projects with a strong focus on customer delivery
- Applying project management expertise within a complex operational environment
- Leading and motivating teams to improve performance and outcomes
- Using commercial awareness to manage contracts effectively
- Managing financial performance, forecasting, and understanding profit and loss
Successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
