The role:

  • As a Warehouse Operative, you'll join a busy and supportive team responsible for ensuring materials, equipment and stock are received, stored and dispatched efficiently.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Receiving, checking, storing and dispatching stock and materials safely and accurately.
  • Maintaining stock records and supporting inventory accuracy through effective warehouse processes.
  • Operating material handling equipment and carrying out general warehouse housekeeping activities.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support operational requirements.
  • Following health, safety and quality standards while helping the team achieve daily performance targets.

This role is full time, working 37 hours per week on a 12-month fixed term contract and is based on site at Bovington, Dorset. You'll work Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 15:30 and Friday from 07:00 to 12:00.

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

  • Experience working within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and MRP systems.
  • Awareness of SAP or MJDI warehouse systems would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of stock control, calibration processes or inventory management.

Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative:

  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE) licence preferred but not essential.
  • Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
