As a Warehouse Operative, you'll support critical logistics operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and meeting daily operational targets. Day‑to‑day, you will be:
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials accurately
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders in line with operational requirements
- Maintaining stock accuracy, including certification and shelf‑life checks
- Operating material handling equipment and supporting general warehouse duties
- Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workspace
This is a full‑time role working 37 hours per week, based at Catterick. Working hours are 07:00 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 – 12:00 Friday.
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications
Experience working within warehouse or logistics environments
Understanding of warehouse or MRP systems
Awareness of stock control and inventory processes
Knowledge of systems such as SAP or MJDI (desirable)
Qualifications:
- MHE (Material Handling Equipment) licence – preferred but not essential
- MJDI MA Qualification – preferred but not essential
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
