Responsibilities
- Design and develop vehicle systems and conversions from concept through to validated, production‑ready solutions.
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and associated technical documentation.
- Support performance analysis, testing, validation and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver against cost, quality and schedule requirements.
- Apply engineering standards, processes and best practice to ensure safe and compliant designs.
Location: Walsall. Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00, Friday 08:00‑13:00 (39 hours per week).
Qualifications
- Experience working within an automotive or vehicle‑focused engineering environment.
- Strong technical understanding of engineering standards, processes, components and design techniques.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work to project deadlines.
- Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability.
- Degree qualified in an engineering‑related subject or equivalent professional experience.

Must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV1 security clearance.
