The role involves supporting workshop operations through the effective management and maintenance of business-critical systems and data. Acting as a subject matter expert for the Management Information System, you'll help ensure the accuracy of repair and overhaul records, support operational performance, and drive best practice across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist systems expertise while working closely with workshop teams and stakeholders to solve challenges, improve processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of defence programmes. Your work will make a tangible impact by ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Supporting and maintaining the Management Information System to ensure accurate and timely data management.
  • Providing guidance and expertise to workshop teams on system use, processes, and best practice.
  • Auditing and validating repair and overhaul data to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Producing reports and performance information to support operational decision-making.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for system-related queries and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and is based on site at Ashchurch.

Essential experience:

  • Experience using Management Information Systems such as JAMES, TAFMIS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new IT systems and business processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to Level 3 (NQF) or equivalent, or proven experience working with data and management information systems.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
