The role:
As a Technical Coordinator, you'll play a vital role at the heart of a major nuclear new-build project, supporting safety-critical operations that demand the highest standards of quality, accuracy and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a complex engineering environment where your coordination and data management expertise directly contributes to nuclear safety, regulatory compliance and project success.
Day-to-day, you'll be required to:
- Maintain and update project data within technical and quality management systems
- Create and issue work orders and documentation to support site operations
- Monitor ongoing activities, capturing progress and quality-related information
- Liaise with engineering, operations and quality teams to ensure alignment
- Produce reports, dashboards and records to support audits and performance tracking
Working onsite at Hinkley Point C, you'll collaborate with engineering, operations and quality teams to ensure information flows effectively, systems are maintained accurately, and activities are fully traceable. With 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can grow your career within defence, nuclear and engineering industries that truly make a difference to society.
Essential experience:
- Experience in data management, document control or technical administration
- Strong coordination or administrative experience within an engineering or technical environment
- Experience working with data or quality management systems
- Ability to manage and organise information accurately in a fast-paced project setting
- Welding experience is not a requirement
Qualifications:
- No essential qualifications required
- Relevant certifications or training in administration, data management or engineering environments would be advantageous
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be a valid UK passport holder, with the ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
