You can play your part as a Digital Learning Advisor at Lyneham, near Chippenham, Wiltshire. The role is an exciting opportunity to influence how training is delivered across both remote and onsite settings. You will collaborate with course designers, subject matter experts, and media teams to ensure learning solutions are engaging, accessible, and aligned to defence standards. In return, you will gain exposure to complex training programmes, develop specialist digital learning expertise, and build a long-term career within a trusted defence organisation.
Day to day you'll be required to:
- Advise on the effective use of technology within blended learning design
- Work closely with course designers, media teams, and subject matter experts
- Support, review, and quality check virtual learning environment content
- Ensure learning design aligns with Defence Systems Approach to Training and JSP 822
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in digital learning solutions
The role is based at Lyneham. Hybrid working patterns are available. The role is 37 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday.
Essential experience of the Digital Learning Advisor:
- Experience working within a virtual learning environment, preferably Moodle
- Experience in learning and development or pedagogical practice
- Technical understanding of digital learning technologies and tools
- Experience training individuals or groups on new technologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
Qualifications for the Digital Learning Advisor:
- A relevant degree/qualification or experience
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
