The role:
As a Supply Chain Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading and developing a high-performing team responsible for delivering critical procurement and supply chain operations. Supporting complex defence, aerospace and engineering programmes, your work will ensure materials, services and systems are delivered efficiently helping us meet the needs of national security and public infrastructure.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Leading and developing a team of Supply Chain Coordinators to achieve business and personal objectives
- Overseeing open order management, requisition to purchase order conversion and invoice query resolution
- Monitoring team performance against key performance indicators and service level agreements
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and best practice
- Collaborating with finance and procurement teams to support accurate reporting and forecasting
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Supply Chain Team Lead:
- Proven experience within supply chain or procurement operations
- Demonstrable experience managing or leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of order management, goods received processes and invoice resolution
- Ability to analyse data, produce reports and communicate insights effectively
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Qualifications for the Supply Chain Team Lead:
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent.
Desirable:
- CIPS qualification or equivalent.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check security clearance for this role.
