The role:

As a Stores and Inventory Assistant, you'll support the Supply Department in delivering core HADES operations, helping ensure that equipment, materials and documentation are accurately managed and readily available. Your work contributes directly to the effective running of a critical RAF station, supporting both day-to-day readiness and wider operational objectives.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

  • Assisting the accounts department with daily supply related activities
  • Supporting physical issuing and receiving of items within the Clothing Stores
  • Preparing documentation for the receipt and issue of stock
  • Supporting stocktaking and snap check programmes across stockholding groups
  • Ensuring the physical security of stock, assets and buildings under your control.

This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. You will be working Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-16:00.

Essential experience:

  • Computer literate
  • Able to work on your own initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work practices
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors year round
  • Customer service or accounts experience in a military or civilian environment (desirable)
  • Familiarity with MOD logistics procedures and documentation (desirable)

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
