As a Repair Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide day to day management of the contract service delivery.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the managing the repair of large assets on behalf of the MoD and liaise with external suppliers to facilitate repair of electrical boxes, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, fire suppression.

Project managing the repair of designated repairable assemblies

Establishing present and future global workload, allocating the work for in-year load, monitoring progress and taking the necessary action to ensure successful completion in line with the customer’s requirements

Ensuring work is undertaken to the required quality standards in an economical and efficient manner in accordance with programmes, repair orders, contracts and delegated financial powers

Initiation and technical evaluation of contracts and their management to completion, ensuring delivery on time, quality and best value for money whilst exercising strict control of funds allocated

Liaison with Project Teams to ensure compliance with their repair policies, service level agreements and any special requirements on the part of the customer, ensuring any funding requirements have been identified
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

Qualifications for the Repair Manager:
- Qualifications appropriate to the grade in Engineering discipline, (minimum ONC or equivalent SNCO forces background)
